Croc-embossed cowhide. Custom brushed brass. 40 hours of handwork.

The original GENA sling, and the piece the collection was built around. Croc-embossed cowhide, cut and finished by hand.

The material

Cowhide, embossed with a crocodile pattern and finished in black. The scale is pressed into the hide rather than taken from an exotic skin, which is what keeps the texture even across the whole panel and the price where it is.

How it is made

Around 40 hours of handwork per bag, by one maker rather than a production line. The hardware is custom brushed brass, made for GENA and used on nothing else.

Wearing it

The one that goes everywhere. Black tailoring, a plain tee, an oversized coat, dark sneakers. It sits between streetwear and tailoring without committing to either, which is why it is the bag most people start with.
